Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps to install the uoml_setup.exe file. Do NOT launch the game yet after installation.

Locate the Installer: Find uoml_setup.exe in your Downloads folder.
Start Installation: Double-click the file. If prompted by User Account Control, click Yes.
Welcome Screen: Click Next.
License Agreement: Select I accept the agreement and click Next.
Choose Installation Folder: Leave default path and click Next.
Select Components: Keep defaults and click Next.
Start Menu Folder: Leave default or change, then click Next.
Additional Tasks: Keep defaults and click Next.
Ready to Install: Click Install.
Installation Progress: Wait for completion.
Finish Setup: Uncheck Launch Ultima Online and click Finish.

Do NOT start the game yet. There are two more steps to complete before playing.

Follow these steps to install Razor and configure it for UO: Columbia.

Download Razor: Download the launcher “Razor” here..
Run the Installer: Double-click the Razor installer file. If prompted by User Account Control, click Yes.
Accept License Agreement: Read and accept the agreement, then click Next.
Choose Installation Folder: Leave the default path or select your preferred location, then click Next.
Complete Installation: Click Install and wait for the process to finish. Click Finish when done.
First Launch Setup: Open Razor and configure the following:
- Client Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Ultima Online Mondain's Legacy
- Server Address: columbiathegame.hopto.org
- Port: 2593
Click OK or Connect (do NOT log in yet if there are more steps).

Razor may prompt you to install the required .NET Framework. If this happens, follow these steps:

Do NOT log in yet. There are additional steps to complete before playing.

If Razor or other applications prompt you to install .NET Framework, follow these steps to install it manually:

Download the Installer: Click the link above and choose the latest supported version of .NET Framework.
Run the Installer: Locate the downloaded file and double-click it. If prompted by User Account Control, click Yes.
Accept License Agreement: Read and accept the agreement, then click Install.
Wait for Installation: The process may take several minutes. Do not close the installer until it finishes.
Complete Installation: Click Finish when the installation is complete.
Restart Your Computer: It is recommended to restart your PC after installing .NET Framework.

Open Razor: Launch Razor after reboot. On first run, you may see a profile error. This is normal and will only happen once.
Configure Razor Settings:
- Client Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Ultima Online Mondain's Legacy
- Server Address: columbiathegame.hopto.org
- Port: 2593
Click OK or Connect after entering these details.
Select Client Type: You can choose to play in 2D or 3D mode once setup is complete.

Go ahead and log in now. It is time to make your character.
